Listen to Miserable Music on the streaming site of your choice below now.
Miserable Music was written at the back end of a depression stint - hence the title. On the contrary though, I wouldn’t actually say it’s all that miserable. You’ll undoubtedly sense pain, depression and at times resentment amongst my lyrics but the songs themselves are probably not miserable - music is subjective after all though, so you may well say they’re miserable as fuck.
But whether you think they’re miserable or not, they were all crafted purely out of emotion - albeit subharmonic ones. I personally believe the worst emotions can create the most beautiful art.
Twisted RootZ was a massive driving force in the creative process for this EP - he recorded all of my vocals, holds production credits on 3 of the 6 tracks and features on 2 of them so I can’t thank him enough. So big up Twisted RootZ, and big up his Nan for for allowing us to do the recording at her house.
Thanks to Ded Tebiase, Airfee, Koast and Melissa Dawn for the other production and feature credits, Fluff for the artwork and most importantly thanks to all of you who’ve supported it.
